# Virtual line projector: walkways and zones marked in light

> Mark walkways, keep-clear zones and forklift lanes with lines of LED light. No paint, no tape and no closed aisles while markings cure.

Floor lines tell people where to walk and where vehicles run. In busy aisles, though, painted and taped lines chip, peel and need constant repair. A **virtual line projector** draws the line in LED light from above, so there is nothing on the floor to wear out. Line length depends on mounting height.
Because nothing is applied to the floor, the line stays crisp, and it can be moved when your layout changes.

## How a projected line is planned
1. **Plan** — Routes, walkways and keep-clear areas are defined with you during the site survey.
2. **Choose the lens** — A 55°, 75° or 90° lens is selected to give the right line length from the available mounting height.
3. **Project** — The line is projected in the colour assigned to that zone.
4. **Adjust** — When the layout changes, the projector is repositioned instead of the floor being repainted.

## Why mark lines with light
- **Nothing to peel or chip** — Forklift wheels and pallets have nothing to wear away.
- **Colour-coded zones** — Five colours let you separate walkways, vehicle lanes and keep-clear areas at a glance.
- **No downtime for curing** — There is no paint to dry and no aisle to close while it does.
- **Flexible layouts** — Seasonal or temporary layouts can be marked without leaving old lines behind.
- **Visible on dirty floors** — Light keeps its contrast where dust and spills cover painted lines.

## Technical data
| | |
|---|---|
| Lens options | 55°, 75°, 90° |
| Power | 70 W |
| Colours | 5 |
| Line length | Depends on mounting height |

## Where projected lines are used
- **Pedestrian walkways** — Walkways along aisles that stay clearly marked under heavy traffic.
- **Keep-clear zones** — Areas in front of doors, fire equipment and electrical panels.
- **Forklift lane edges** — Lane borders in shared areas and along racking.
- **Areas under reorganisation** — Temporary layouts during moves, peaks or construction work.

## Painted or taped lines vs projected lines
| | Paint or tape | Virtual line projector |
|---|---|---|
| Durability | Chips and peels in busy aisles | Nothing on the floor to wear |
| Installation | Floor preparation and curing time | Mounted overhead |
| Layout changes | Old lines must be removed | Move or re-aim the projector |
| Dirty floors | Loses contrast | Stays visible |

## Frequently asked questions
### How long can a projected line be?
Line length depends on the mounting height and the lens: 55°, 75° or 90°. We calculate it for each line during the site survey, so you know what one projector covers before you order.

### Can we use different colours for different zones?
Yes. The line projector is available in five colours, so walkways, vehicle lanes and keep-clear areas can each have their own.

### Does a projected line replace required floor marking?
Requirements for traffic routes differ from country to country. We see projection as a strong addition where you need visibility and flexibility, and your safety officer decides the final mix of painted and projected marking.

### Will it work on dirty or dark floors?
Light keeps its contrast where dust or spills cover painted lines. Floor colour and ambient light still matter, so we check them on site and show you a simulation before you commit.

### What does line projection cost?
It depends on the number of lines, their length and the mounting heights. After the free site survey you receive a detailed quote and schedule.
