Industrial safety signage, planned and made in-house
From the signage plan to the last sign on the wall: ISO 7010 pictograms, warehouse safety signs and forklift signs, designed and produced in our own facility in Thessaloniki.
Signage, PPE & fabrication
Good industrial safety signage starts with a site survey, not a catalogue. For 25 years Horus has designed and manufactured safety signs for industry, following European safety standards and the ISO 7010 pictograms that work for multilingual teams.
We survey your site, map each hazard and produce the signs in our own vertical production unit in Sindos, Thessaloniki. Where it helps, the same team adds the active layer: LED floor projection, smart mirrors and collision avoidance.

Why a signage plan pays off
-
A clear legal basis
Signs follow Directive 92/58/EEC, transposed in Greece by Presidential Decree 105/1995, and ISO 7010 pictograms.
-
Understood without words
Registered pictograms work for staff, contractors and visitors whatever their language.
-
One partner, one standard
Planning, production and installation by the same team keep every sign consistent.
-
Custom where needed
Site-specific signs are produced in-house rather than adapted from a catalogue.
-
Ready for the active layer
The same plan shows where projection, mirrors or collision avoidance would add protection.

Frequently asked questions
Which regulations apply to workplace safety signs?
In the EU, minimum requirements are set by Directive 92/58/EEC. Greece transposed it with Presidential Decree 105/1995, later amended by PD 52/2015, and in Germany the reference is ASR A1.3. ISO 7010 defines the registered pictograms used across these frameworks.
What is ISO 7010 W014?
W014 is the ISO 7010 warning sign for forklift trucks and other industrial vehicles. It is the standard pictogram for areas where pedestrians may meet forklift traffic.
Do you design custom signs?
Yes. Our graphic department and production unit design and manufacture signs to your site’s needs, including custom fabrication when a standard sign does not fit.
Do you install the signs?
Yes. Our own technicians install them, certified for work at height and following all safety rules and PPE requirements.
How much does a signage plan cost?
It depends on the size and complexity of the site. Start with a free site survey and you will receive a detailed proposal.
