horus · anticollision safety
Pedestrian and forklift collision avoidance systems.
Safety you can see, before an accident happens. Light, detection and signage for warehouses and plants.
The AI camera detects the pedestrian.
Detection zones are set around the forklift. The AI camera detects the person, alerts the driver in real time and slows the truck down.
Light gives the warning.
The LED projector draws a crossing and a warning triangle on the floor the moment a forklift approaches.
Our goal: zero accidents.
The forklift slows down and the pedestrian crosses. Start with a free survey of your site.

Who we are
Industrial signage expertise, with an active layer
For 25 years Horus has designed, produced and installed industrial safety signage and supplied personal protective equipment from its base in Thessaloniki, Greece. Painted lines, ISO 7010 signs and mirrors remain the foundation of a safe site.
Today we build on that foundation with forklift collision avoidance systems and LED projector signage. We study the risk at every hazard point in your plant, then install and support each solution with our own team.

Solutions
Three layers of protection
Light that warns, detection that acts, and the signage and PPE that every site needs. Start with one hotspot or plan the whole site.
Light & floor projection
Warnings drawn where people look
-
LED floor projector
An industrial LED floor projector puts the warning where people actually look: on the floor in front of them.
-
Virtual pedestrian crossing
A bright zebra crossing projected onto the floor at doorways and gates.
-
Smart convex mirror
A convex mirror that does not wait for you to look at it.
-
Virtual line projector
Mark walkways, keep-clear zones and forklift lanes with lines of LED light.

How it works
Detect, warn, slow down, record
Every active solution follows the same logic. What changes is the technology that fits each point on your site.
Detect
The AI camera detects a pedestrian around the forklift.
Warn
The driver gets an audiovisual alert in the cab, and a projection or mirror warns the pedestrian.
Slow down
The forklift decelerates automatically, or stops, according to the zone.
Record
Depending on the system, events and alerts are logged, so near misses that would otherwise go unreported become visible.

Projects
Proven on real sites and on stage
Industrial companies have trusted Horus to supply and install LED projectors and AI collision avoidance cameras, and the same solutions suit food and beverage, packaging and manufacturing sites. Coca-Cola HBC also chose us to present innovative signage at its global Leadership Conference 2025 in Athens.

FAQ
Questions safety managers ask
What is a forklift collision avoidance system?
It is a system that detects pedestrians or other vehicles near a forklift, warns the driver and the pedestrian, and can slow down or stop the truck automatically. AI cameras recognise people without anyone having to wear a tag.
Can the systems be fitted to our existing forklifts?
The AVA camera system is designed for retrofit, with magnetic mounting. We check every vehicle type in your fleet during the site survey.
Is the site survey really free?
Yes. We visit your site, assess the risk at each point and discuss the options with you. You then receive a simulation and a detailed quote, and decide from there.
Do you work outside Greece?
Horus is based in Thessaloniki and serves sites across Greece. If your site is elsewhere, contact us and we will discuss how we can help.
